Apple has announced a new product named the MacBook Air M4. However, this might potentially change the global laptop business. And I say this with great responsibility because I looked at it from all angles, including its pricing and capabilities. And I am telling you right now that I am hypothetically impressed. It works great for light or heavy tasks, videography, video editing, photo editing, gaming, and everything else. This is arguably the most valuable item in the entire laptop ecosystem.

Apple MacBook Air M4 Display & Design
In terms of display size, it is 13.6 inches. It features a 60 Hz display, an IPS display, 500 nits of brightness, HDR 10, and Dolby version compatibility. And when I asked 2-3 users who were using it, they commented that it felt better, the colors looked better, and it worked out very nicely. There are no concerns concerning the display.

This is a more affordable and powerful laptop from Apple. In the entire laptop ecosystem, this is the best laptop!
If you go Pro, for 4-5 times more money, you can get ProMotion 120Hz with an LED display. But for a normal user, 99.9% of the users, it’s not going to make any difference. In fact, you’re going to love this display.
Apple MacBook Air M4 Performance
The biggest bomb that it received was due to its performance. If we compare it with M3, there is a 15-20% jump in performance. It’s a 3NM processor; it’s a powerful efficiency. The battery is amazing; you can play back videos for up to 18 hours. We have heard from some users that it gives at least 12 to 14 hours of actual battery backup. Its base variant comes with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage.
PERFORMANCE
Talking about performance, we tested Geekbench, and it scored 3700 single core, which is excellent. If we compare with Snapdragon X Elite, then it has more single cores. Multi Core is around 15000, which we think is quite good. In real life, if you want heavy coding on it, or if you want to use Photoshop for graphics, or if you want to edit 4K streams, you should not have any problems. If you are a video editor, then you can put 2 full 6k monitors on the display.
KEYBOARD
Talking about the keyboard, it’s an ambient backlit keyboard which means it does more or less lighting according to the lighting conditions.
Apple MacBook Air M4 Ports & Weight
Let’s look at the ports, on the left hand side, there’s a Magsafe, 2 USB type C, Thunderbolt, 4 ports. And then on the right hand side, there’s a 3.5mm jack. We have always seen that the ports are less, but you can buy a dongle, you’ll get 8-10 ports.
If I talk about the weight, it’s 1.22 kg. It feels like everything is stuffed inside it, so it’s very light and portable. It comes with two variants, 13 inch, and then you also have a 15 Inch one.
Apple MacBook Air M4 Multimedia and Connectivity
Talking about multimedia, the display is excellent & the speaker quality and sound is also good. And connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 support, you have to touch ID for security. But there is another big upgrade, which is the webcam. In the previous generation M3, you used to get a full HD webcam. But now you get a 12MP centre stage camera.

Talking about OS, you get MacOS and Apple Intelligence support. So this is the MacBook Air M4 Variant for the year 2025.
Apple MacBook Air M4 Price
This 13 inch MacBook has been launched in $999 (U.S) and $899 (U.S.) for education. And the 15‑inch MacBook Air with M4 starts at $1,199 (U.S.) and $1,099 (U.S.) for education. And if I compare it with M3’s previous generation, the launch price has gone down. And a lot of things have doubled. For example, RAM used to be 8GB, now it’s 16GB.
