Let’s talk about the IQoo 13 — One thing that IQoo has done very well is, generally, there’s no other brand that launches a phone & after 3 months, the price goes down. But IQoo 12, that didn’t happen, and I think it won’t happen with IQoo 13 as well. This is the cheapest 8 Gen Elite phone out there. This phone is performance-focused, and we’ll talk about the gaming, benchmarks, and all about this.

iQOO 13 Display Performance
If I talk about the display of this phone, the display is flat; it’s a gaming-focused display. That means gamers prefer the flat display, and that’s exactly what it has. It has a 6.82-inch display with 2K resolution, and you get 144Hz in gaming. The 8T “AMOLED display” has a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. So if you are not doing anything, it will be at 1 Hz, and the battery will be conserved. So it’s a great display, but it’s completely flat and has no curve.

Let’s talk about performance. Performance is very important because it’s a gaming-focused phone. It has a good score on an Antutu score & Geekbench score. But the important thing is, how does it perform in the real world? When you play games like Wuthering Waves, BGMI, etc.
Literally, it’s a gaming focused phone; because of that, there are a lot of gaming features like frame interpolation. Because of which you can play games on a 144Hz fast refresh rate. Even if you have done long sessions like 45 minutes/1 hour, thermals are in check. So in terms of performance, IQoo has definitely optimized it very well.
iQOO 13 Camera Performance
Camera is also very important. When the IQoo 12 launched, I was literally shocked. It’s a performance-focused phone so, how is the camera so good? Is IQoo 13’s camera good? In the IQoo 12, you get a 3X portrait lens, but it’s not there in the IQoo 13.
The IQoo 12 has a 50MP camera with a 64MP 3X telephoto lens. But it has a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX 921), a 50MP (JN1) ultrawide, and a 50MP 2X telephoto. IQoo has said that they give you a 4X lossless zoom. But overall, if I talk about it, you get good portraits on 2X zoom.
iQOO 13 Multimedia Performance
One thing that stands out is the amazing display and audio quality. For multimedia, it’s fantastic & you don’t have to worry at all. The colour reproduction of the display is good. There’s no Dolby Vision support, but when you are watching HDR10 on Netflix or YouTube, you are going to love the colours reproduced on this display. Another surprising thing is that it has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
iQOO 13 Connectivity & Other Performance
If you are a gamer, it has USB 3.2 Gen 1. So there are fast data transfer rates too. If you want to stream, it’ll definitely be beneficial for that. And it has USB; the storage type is 4.1. Now talk about OS. That’s really fast; as soon as you come and touch the display, you feel that quickness and speed. It has loads and loads of features like AOD, lock screen, customization, etc.
Talking about the AI features, there are 4-5 standard features (it’s not an AI features phone). The important thing that impressed me is that there are regular updates on these phones.
