iOS 19 Battery Optimization Feature Leaked : Apple is Working on This Feature

iOS 19 Battery Optimization Feature: iOS 19 Developer Beta 1 is just a few days away and we want to know more about what Apple is working on for their next big update.

Today, we want to talk about a specific feature that we have known and heard about for quite some time, and that is Battery Intelligence. Now, Battery Intelligence is a feature that was first mentioned in the iOS 18.2 beta. The code in the software points to a new Battery Intelligence feature that Apple has not yet released.

Apple is working on this feature to announce with iOS 19. However, we now have more information about what this feature will be capable of. Initially, we thought that this feature would only tell you how long it would take for your iPhone to fully charge.

We thought that this feature would only tell you how long it will take for your iPhone to fully charge to 100%. But according to some recent reports from Mark German, he mentioned that Apple is working on an AI-powered Battery Optimization Mode feature to debut with iOS 19. And this feature, Battery Intelligence/Battery Optimization Mode, is directly targeted at the new iPhone 17 lineup.

Now, obviously we know that Apple will launch the new iPhone 17 lineup this year, and one of the devices this year will be the iPhone 17 Air. Now, as you know or have heard, this device is probably going to be extremely thin, which means the battery is also going to be very thin. So this particular feature, Battery Intelligence or Battery Optimization Mode, is specifically targeted for this device. However, according to Mark German, it will be available for other devices as well. Now, we know that Battery Intelligence is currently in the works. So, it makes a lot of sense to combine these things. The Battery Intelligence Power Optimization feature is now rumored to be coming. So, this means Apple will bring Battery Intelligence to the iPhone 17 lineup with iOS 19.

And now keep in mind that Battery Intelligence can’t just tell you how long it will take for your iPhone to fully charge. Now it’s being said that this is an AI-powered feature that optimizes battery life on the new iPhone 17 lineup. And it could be a game changer for battery life on the iPhone. Keep in mind that Apple recently introduced their C1 modem in the iPhone 16, which allows the iPhone 16 to have incredible battery life. So, Battery Intelligence isn’t just a feature that tells you how long it will take to charge your iPhone.

This is likely going to be a whole set of settings on your iPhone that you can enable to dramatically increase your iPhone’s battery life. And again, this could potentially be triggered on the iPhone 16 lineup. But it will likely be specifically targeted at the 17 Air, the 17 Air device coming later this year, which is the super-slim iPhone that Apple will debut in September. I wanted to give you all a quick update on Battery Intelligence because I know a lot of you have been really eagerly awaiting this feature in iOS 19. I can’t wait to get my hands on the first beta.
