Huawei Pura X : Last year, Huawei introduced the world’s first tri-fold device. Huawei has returned with yet another new form factor: the Pura X, the industry’s first expansive foldable smartphone. The Pura X may appear a bit out of the ordinary at first, but it makes a lot of sense. Imagine it as a broader, foldable clamshell. The Pura X offers more screen real estate in a horizontal arrangement as opposed to the narrow flip-style foldable that we’re accustomed to, which may alter how we use foldable phones.
HIGHLIGHTS
Huawei Pura X Display & Design
The Pura X features a 3.5-inch OLED cover display with a 1:1 aspect ratio and a resolution of 980×980. It’s not your conventional tall and thin cover screen, but rather a tiny, square-shaped display. The 6.3-inch OLED primary screen has a resolution of 2120×1320 and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
That increased vertical area allows for greater room to read papers, browse the web, and run two programs simultaneously without feeling crowded. The smartphone comes with a tri-color leather back cover and a few extras, like satellite connectivity.
Huawei Pura X Camera Set-up
The front-facing camera is 10.7 MP. However, as with other foldable devices, the primary camera can also function as a selfie camera. The Pura X’s camera setup is far from an afterthought. It includes a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 40 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8 MP telephoto sensor with 3.5x a zoom function and 30x digital zoom.
