Samsung’s Good Lock App: Samsung has officially begun the global rollout of its powerful customization app, Good Lock, which allows Galaxy users around the world to personalize their smartphones like never before. Although long limited to certain countries, the app is now becoming accessible in regions that were previously excluded, including Romania, signaling a significant expansion.
Samsung’s Good Lock App Now Globally Available
Originally limited to around 40 countries, Samsung confirmed earlier this year that it was planning to release Good Lock globally. Samsung has initiated the rollout, launching the app in new markets and making it accessible on both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store. However, its availability on the Play Store may still be blocked for some users depending on some regions and devices.

Good Lock offers users a total of 23 features to enhance their devices through various modules. Such as custom lock screens, animated backgrounds, redesigned navigation, and more. The suite is compatible with Galaxy A and S series phones, although not all models currently support installation.

To run Good Lock, a device must be updated to One UI 7 or later, which is compatible with Android 15. Flagship devices like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra are already compatible, but some models, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, may still face delays. Samsung has temporarily halted the One UI 7 update for some devices, which could result in some users having trouble accessing Good Lock.

Despite these issues, its global release has brought a significant boost. The app is now easier to access. It has been updated with a new design that is in line with One UI 7. Samsung has clearly made Good Lock a central part of its user experience. With the rollout still having issues, more users can look forward to unlocking a deeper level of personalization on their Galaxy phones.
